While on vacation this week we were able to catch a late sun highlighting the trees on the far side of the beaver bog.

A highlight of this past weekend was a tremendous rain storm, perhaps three or four inches over several hours? Our streams are suddenly back to seasonal levels – all in one day.

We have been cautioned that the drought will not be ended even with this deluge.
