Since our last post, we have had snow. In fact we have had several inches several times. Most interesting is the rain that followed our snow storms. Today was forty degrees after early morning rain.
The upper bog view at left shows a full, running stream. Most areas with sunlight are losing snow cover.
The view below shows part of the snow machine trail through the wooded section between the bogs. You will notice several tracks from earlier this week embossed into the trail. We had two sets of stray dogs loose on two different evenings this week. These marks are very likely from one of the lost dog pairs. One of the searchers was the local animal control officer, but I am assuming the human tracks shown are from one of the owners.


We had -10F only this morning. Winds were light to moderate but made it a biting cold. Murphy the snow dog thought it was fine. Despite a clear, star lit night, we had a dusting of snow on everything at dawn.
