Today we went beyond the beaver bog and over to the no-name pond (see above). The reds are still here and we are getting to peak color. The beaver bog itself (at left and below right) has a very impressive color wall. This year has been the best foliage in a long time. The image at bottom left is from another bog east of us from last weekend.

From the upper bog; the leaves are turning red among many more trees than usual and more persistent, lasting more than a couple days.
