On our visit to Ft. McKinley we found this armament arrayed around the site. The guns are primarily Civil War era and represent how the fort was at its decommissioning. We did not do much research so we can’t identify the details. The fort’s most important night, of course, was when an imprisoned Francis Scott Key wrote a song while on board a British ship attacking the fort.
