Groundhog day again

Today we ventured into the backwoods for the first time in a week (though none of these images are from today’s patrol) and it has been a week with very little additional snow (even less than what Atlanta got, hah-hah). Of course, it was a week of exceedingly cold temperatures. Today it was almost forty degrees; essentially spring weather.
The bar coding on the roof of the garage is saying that we have about six weeks more of winter; after that, we will probably get the after-winter.
The local logging inventory just sits and dries out. This is just one stack of four or more.
The blue in the last of today’s images is entirely fake.
We found a number of turkey tracks in the snow during last week’s patrols. Today we found few turkey tracks and the lack of snow has depressed the volume of snow-machine traffic significantly.
