The storm began on Sunday, Dec. 22, with rain that covered two days but totaled only about half-an-inch. Temperatures hovered around 32F but barely, and trended below freezing most of the time, allowing the rain to freeze on everything.

An unusual weather pattern of really cold air followed the ice storm and this has allowed the ice to stay for days. The last image on this report is our temperature and pressure readings since earlier in the month.
