Island birds
Back on Mason Island for a summer weekend; despite cloudy weather with rain off and on all day, we found the usual variety of birds.
An osprey sits in a tree after we got too close to the school house road nest and made Her? move to the tree.
Back at the house, the hummingbirds were in full force all day long going to and fro on the feeders. To change the usual theme, I waited for, and got, images of one in the tree next to the deck. This one seems to be a bit chubbier than the typical bird feeding at Tom’s feeders.
Last photo: the cormorants have an all-day party going out on seal rocks today. Noank is in the background.
