The Zumwalt-class destroyer currently under construction at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine, on the Kennebec river. This boat will be commissioned as the USS Lyndon Johnson in about a year. I have been told it will be based in San Diego.

According to our tour guide, the surface angle design and radar-absorbing surface tiles of the 600+ foot craft will result in a radar-signal image similar to a 40 foot ship.
