Lake Contoocook signing off

We completed our stay with more pure summer weather. Bright sunny days in the 80s+; with New Hampshire pandemic lockdowns easing, getting meals was the new normal of call in orders and pick up (we stay away from delivery usually). The Inn just opened for lodging, apparently only in the lakeside cabins. They have been doing outdoor seating for meals and bar-room. Our trip included fixing a flat tire on the Maine Turnpike, driving to NH on the toy spare tire, getting said flat tire repaired and re-installed (thank you again Peter!). Otherwise, we fixed up the cemetery stone of the Mom&Dad Gregories and sat and watched every kind of watercraft go by our cabin for four days.
The amazingly warm weather and the uncertainty of what touristy things were available steered us into a lethargic sit-around-the-camp weekend.
