The bald eagle sorties over Woodbury pond

It has been slow going on the photo journalism front of late; the change in time combined with the shortening days always requires adjustments even though it happens every year …

Last winter’s sighting of a bald eagle on Woodbury pond was an anomaly. This evening an eagle cruised over us and disappeared above the treetops on our left. Maybe he lives there. This late fall sighting suggests the bird actually lives around here.
