Well the “goldfinch?” is positively a goldfinch; we have lots of them here but I don’t think the wren is a wren. Check out the beak, which is made for crunching seeds. Wrens are prodigious bug eaters. We always had a wren house around the vegetable garden to control the cabbage worms. Not as effective as 5% Sevin dust but healthier.
