This was the scene about two weeks ago along the Gardiner and Hallowell shorelines of the Kennebec river. The winter’s worth of wood and flotsam collected by the river is visible in the image at left. Earlier, the ice pack had a whole dumpster from a river side parking lot up stream.

The media reports we got fourteen inches. Local, hands-on measurements are not reliable but there is snow everywhere.
Temperatures stayed right at freezing.
This image is from my 3-year old Gopro4 set for still images. With snow in progress, I decided to use it for its weather-proof casing.
