Who needs the super moon? It really isn’t that super. It is just a full moon when the moon’s orbit comes a bit closer to earth than usual.
Here is a moon during the daytime (May 1, 2015) when a jet was trying to land on it.

During my brief visit south last week, I had time to visit the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Wells, Maine. This coastal reserve covers a large area of seaside forest and marsh along the Gulf of Maine. It is dedicated to the protection of seashore and migratory birds and their habitats. The walking trail on the site is quite short, no more than forty minutes to walk even factoring photo time.
