The storm of last Tuesday put six inches of snow everywhere and the temperatures hovered just below freezing. The combination of temperature and minimal sun apparently was perfect enough to cause a slow motion melting while retaining snow consistency. This is from four-plus days after the storm.
These shots are from the beginning of the month through 11/22. We have few captured images from this time period, which coincides with deer-hunting-with-real-guns month. Most of the captured images are from evening time periods (like the one on the left). The day time image on the right is very rare from this group. There is plenty of evidence (deer poop, trampled paths) to suggest they are still out there. We have had only one siting of a hunter in our area.
