After departing Greenock and the Firth of Clyde along Scotland’s mid-western shore on May 7, the cruise headed north around the tip of the British Isles. Before passing the northeastern tip of the Scottish mainland at the village of John O’Groats, the rising sun greeted us the morning of May 9 before we turned south to Invergordon.
