This is a pile of water-logged stumps that normally are unseen below the surface of the pond. Prior to the rains of the end of March, the pond has been unusually low. There has not been much software re-touching of this photo image: shadow lighting have been boosted and some dust in my camera CCD (charge-coupled device, captures photons of light and converts into digital data; looks like a photo-cell and mine has some crap on it). Otherwise, the low-light conditions and zero windage provides a water surface as a nice background for the shot.
