A high dynamic range manipulation

An early morning exposure of the inlet at Cobbosseecontee stream; a large tree trunk appears to be tip-toeing along on a glass table. The second is an experimental image manipulation using an open source high dynamic range (HDR) imaging software. HDR attempts to adjust over -exposed and under-exposed portions of an image to render a correctly exposed over-all image. This particular image may not be a good example of the technique.
