We are experimenting with new software that allows the “stitching” together of a range of photos to provide a panoramic image (click on the second image to get a more than full-screen-wide display: it combines four overlapping images taken along an approximate 100+ degree rotation). You can see where the computer got confused during the processing by looking carefully at the tree trunk just left of center: the lower portion of the trunk seems to disappear as you look down the right side.
