From last week; this is the “big picture” or “wide angle” view of the prominent outcrop to the west of North Conway; it is not only a scenic attraction, it is a primary location for east coast rock climbers. The Dartmouth Outing Club provides details here.
The left side is known as the “Prow” and there is apparently an auto road to the top. The outing club suggests this site for rock-climbing-wannabes and for serious climbers getting ready for K2 or the high Andes, i.e, the real stuff.
