A walk through a mainiac zoo

One day last week we went out on a typical short patrol on the snowmachine trail. Right at the beginning, at bridge bravo, my radar man picked up movement to our right. I did not see anything at first. Then there was movement. A youngish racoon, a teenager? went up to keep away from us.
He ended up sort of hanging there, like this was his first time for evasive maneuvers and he had not figured out the correct positioning.
We left him there.
Then a few minutes later as we approached the beaver bog, I caught a shape out of place. We were being surveyed.

And finally, we caught a bunch of turkeys in the far field about thirty minutes later. This was a tricky shot where I had a small section of forest between us and the field. The turkeys had figured out we were approaching, so they were just about to bug out when I got set up for the shot.
