View of Noank early morning on ground hog day 2019
The sun came up dramatically in southern Connecticut and everyone saw shadows today. It was cold even in the sunlight (like 15F). Murphy didn’t care. It is notable that there is a good portion of Poggy Bay (second image) with ice. With this being Atlantic waters, ice means it has been really cold down here!!!
The inspiration for the blogdog site is Peter Steiner’s cartoon in the New Yorker from July 1993.
