Here is some more snapshots of the observations this past weekend on Masons Island.
From Ram Point, a schooner heads north on the Mystic R with Noank behind it
A Rutan design aircraft passed overhead with a distinctive engine chatter (thanks Tommy for the ID)
At the little beach I spotted a small mocking bird (I think)

The hummingbirds were busy all weekend; or, at least one, and this bird stood on this branch for ten minutes or more with me five feet away
During the recent visit to Mystic, there was an evening with enough clouds to pull off a sunset for the archives. This is an autumn equinox version with the sun setting over the Noank church steeple (as seen from above the Little Beach).
