We had the barred owl cross our path earlier this week while on the bog path; this is the fourth or fifth time we have seen him, so we have named him, “Barry.”
We caught the first image when he flew into a tree in front of us; after trying to creep up closer, he flew to the right and settled into another tree; we then crept up to him again and got the second image.

Just this evening, we found a loon down at the pond.
