Boothbay harbor dry-dock
The replica 1797 East Indianman merchant ship Friendship of Salem sits at drydock at Boothbay Harbor shipyard. This vessel is a part of the Salem (MA) National Historic Marine Park according to a quick google.
The East Indiaman class is a relatively standard vessel type built for use of the British East India Company in the late 1700s. An East Indiaman captured by the Americans during the Revolution was re-named Bonhomme Richard and outfitted with cannon with one John Paul Jones as captain. His cruise around the British Isles in 1797 was a memorable embarrassment to the Royal Navy.
If you look carefully, you can see four-blade twin screws indicating this version of the Friendship can handle a lack of wind and then some.
Boothbay Harbor Shipyard worked on a full scale replica of the H.M.S. Bounty about a decade ago.
