During the recent visit to Mystic, there was an evening with enough clouds to pull off a sunset for the archives. This is an autumn equinox version with the sun setting over the Noank church steeple (as seen from above the Little Beach).
Today the air traffic controllers assisted the ground photography crew with east coast flights providing clouds, albeit a bit streaky, to play off the sunlight.

We did get some natural fliers over the Ice Pond earlier in the day.

The steady noise of dump trucks backing up and steam shovels pounding the ground from Money Point highlights the ongoing development at the point. The former house is gone. As Sherry would say, it was a turn-and-burn sale. Uncle Tommy reports that the property sold for $3M.
