This was our storm on December 4. We got almost 4 inches or so and then temperatures fell. This left good amounts of snow on everything for a number of days. This provided very nice visuals for days and this was a very unusual occurrence.

Then warm air and rain came, leaving us with no snow. Then we got a few inches of rain on December 18 and very high winds, killing our power for almost 4 days.

Another look at the Virginia

We visited Bath (Maine) last week briefly. As usual, I walked down to the waterfront on the Kennebec River while Sherry had an appointment. Here is the location of the replica Virginia, Maine’s “first boat”. You can see the replica vessel more clearly in my post of earlier this year.
