Egrets on Ram point

These are the best findings along the edges of Mason Island from our kayak mode of transportation. The usual suspects populate the Seal rocks (exclusively for cormorants nowadays).

Further upstream into the bay, we visited the osprey nest along Ram Point road. She was not here during mid-day on Wednesday. She never left the nest while I drifted along the marsh canal.

At the end of Ram Point, there were three snowy egrets (or great egrets?).
