The latest rain, on Thursday last, was 2.24 inches!! The culvert under Huntington Hill road was blocked like this today, two days later. The beavers may not be to blame for the full extent of this blockage, but they certainly have helped!

It remains to be seen how much the beavers are responsible. The impact, regardless, is the trail bridge is fully flooded out. We await the probable visit from the town road maintenance crew on Monday.
