

During this past weekend on a trip to Thomaston for Easter, I took these shots of the birds near Sherry’s Mom’s bird feeders.
The lower one is a chickadee, I am guessing [4/8/15: black-capped chickadee]; the other is a LBT, little brown thing, but I really need to do better than that [4/8/15: song sparrow]. I have decided to post before identification.
The goal was to catch one of the several cardinals that visit regularly but they did not come near the porch or the lingering photographer. They sat on a nearby branch and then flew away.
