We had a very successful visit to the ice pond :

There were a nice variety of birds at the pond; above are two mallards, maybe. Blur your vision and see a pair of F-15s in formation.
Below is a canada goose which saw fit to steam at us while we sat along the shore.

Below is one of the seagulls zooming by on their own particular mission.
