On one of our days off the grid in the real central Maine (the physical center not the population center, hah!), we toured a set of wind turbines on the heights southeast of Lincoln, Maine. These are within ten miles of our camp site (which is further south and a bit east of here). There are perhaps ten to fifteen turbines in two groups here and another 10-to-15 units on Passadumkeag Ridge further south of the camp.
