For Father’s Day I got an upgraded weather station. Yeahh! The previous device stopped connecting to its outdoor sensor no matter what battery strength existed in any component. It also was nearly incomprehensible to set up (press and hold button X for 6.3345 seconds, then select button Y and Z while the international Atomic satellite is pointing toward Yemen) and it did not have any wind or rain sensors. It was used to monitor indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidities, air pressure, and what day it was – this last item was very useful once I retired.

The new one has been easy to set up (no atomic clock, had to look at my phone) but it has a great colorful display and how can things be any better when you can get the instant wind speed in the driveway and be comforted by the .03 inches of rain that has fallen today?
