A couple of weeks ago, the snow and ice arrived and then, disappeared. As of today, the Woodbury pond is still ice covered but there is no longer any snow along the shore.
After a year of algae blooms in the Beaver Bog pond, it is now clear of algae (mostly). Here (at right) you can see the dam in the lower foreground and the bog beyond.
