Recon to bridge Echo
Weeks ago, we went out to bridge Echo on the snow machine trail to see if it was passable. As you can see, the flooding on the far end suggested otherwise.
Our new patrol team member, Jasper, ended up showing off; you can see him lounging on the partial ice waiting for us to do something. He’s a goof.
Today it was 50F and our patrol found the bridge covered in snow and snow machine traffic has used it successfully.
After moving to the right along the stream, we look back in this image at bridge Echo from a bit upstream. Behind us, further upstream, the beavers have several newer dams (previously posted). The original dam that has flooded bridge Echo is seen beyond the bridge here.
