These shots are from the beginning of the month through 11/22. We have few captured images from this time period, which coincides with deer-hunting-with-real-guns month. Most of the captured images are from evening time periods (like the one on the left). The day time image on the right is very rare from this group. There is plenty of evidence (deer poop, trampled paths) to suggest they are still out there. We have had only one siting of a hunter in our area.
After noon today, we went for a walk around the beaver bog. Once we got to the far end, we stopped at a pre-arranged spot where I have a small bench made of discarded wood. Murphy took the perimeter watch. Not a minute later, I spotted movement on the left and a medium sized doe darted away from us. It stopped, turned around, and then sat for another minute about 100 yards away. The deer then ran away to the west, not to be seen again
We then moved along to check out the beavers near bridge echo (see previous post). No change from yesterday. We still have yet to find their lodge or winter quarters.
Other sitings included a muskrat and an owl or hawk at the upper bog, closer to home.
