Day 30 Retired in place

Raked leaves, walked to pond, walked to bog, filled the rain barrel, weeded the daffodil bed.
Looked at old bird photos. This is a loon spotted down in Connecticut during the last trip south. Since then, I went to the local grocery store twice. No toilet paper in the store either time, but all the sliced, packaged rye bread anyone could eat was on the racks. Took one trip to the local post office. Sherry’s mom was here for Easter weekend and we drove her back to Thomaston (ME) on Tuesday. On Monday, Sherry took her to a doctor’s appointment. That is the extent of our expeditions away from home in 30 days.
In preparation for Easter weekend, we had a foot of snow last Thursday and Friday. On Monday we had over an inch of rain combined with almost 60 mph winds.
