Across the road, they are harvesting tons of trees. While the amount of wood being cut down is tremendous, the remaining forest is still quite visible. There are swaths through the forest where the large tractor machine has meandered around (the second and third images are examples).

From our property, we cannot see any evidence of their work. Besides the mobile tree cutting machine, they have a large (the blue machine in the first image) chipper/shredder which is turning logs into wood chips.

The last image is not from the wood harvesting but of a log that has fallen across the outlet stream from the bog. It promises to partially dam the stream at a point just before the culvert that goes under the road.
