I have taken a pause in archival work but I did put this first image together to show how “photo-shopping” on some of the images can bring back, sometimes, the original quality lost through time.

We are past phase 1 of the leaf falling sequence (birches and soft-woods) and into phase 2 (maples).

The last image here shows bridge Charlie on the snow machine trail; every one of the bridges are now in barely passable condition (one, bridge Alpha, has been marked with red “Danger” tape – photos forthcoming); here, you can see the beaver bog in the background (stage left).
