In continuing with the digitization and review of slide images from Dad’s 1951 collection, there are a couple of landscape views of the Grand Canyon and several closer shots of the Hoover dam (spelled “Houver” in his index). Also note, this group may have actually been photographed toward the end of 1950; I base this assumption on the index entry for slide #9, which says “1/1/51.”

While none of these images are cropped, I enhanced the color temperatures to remove a blue overcast and get the image closer to a more natural tone.

As I process these slides and compare to the index, there are many more index items than slides in the little box we came across. Potentially, we will find many more slides or they are gone …
