GWG at Yellowstone 1951
I have started to digitize the slides from what I call Dad’s 1951 slide box. I do not recall ever seeing the images I am finding.
The first image quality surprised me; this is labeled as the Grand Tetons. There is no editing on this image: straight out of my Wolverine digitizing machine.
The next image, #116B, is labeled “Neighbor on Jackson Lk”.
A Yellowstone “geyser” is captured in the third image. The image is #127A and the label is “2nd stink hole” and #127B is listed as “1st geyser.” Both slides listed as #127A-B show geysers.
The last image is a Guam sunset. At first I thought my digitizing machine was not capturing these properly. After redoing it and checking the others, the truth is that, even back in 1951, a photographer can take an out-of-focus shot.
