During today’s walk in the woods, we encountered two hunters and the usual evidence of deer. The local snow-machine people have not been out to clean up the trails or prepare the bridges or put up their signs.

Here is a sign seen through the trees and underbrush which is painted on the fuel tank of a delivery truck; the truck lies dismembered and rusting next to the field out back amongst a large pile of metal objects.
