Into June
The beginning of June started with rain and cold weather. While the rain was actually needed, the 40F – 50F temperature range was unwelcome.
Getting the garden and landscaping up to snuff has been difficult.
At right is a common visitor in our yard. It does spend time upside down as a SOP. I will attempt an identification later.
While on the front steps one evening, I spotted a humming bird hovering by the purple flowers (see below), I got my camera ready at the same time the next evening and no one showed up. Once the other plants in the front start blooming later in the season, I will be able to get some pictures of humming birds.
