As promised we have an image from the Gopro camera on the canoe of the meeting with a big moose last Saturday. Not the greatest but adds to the documentary evidence of collusion, in our opinion.

After some seconds of staring at each other, the moose turned to his right and swam/trudged across the stream, climbing the bank as seen, barely, in the image below.

At the same time, I stowed my paddle, turned and grabbed Murphy’s collar to keep him in the canoe, and then attempted to get the paddle back in the water to point the canoe, hence the camera, back toward the quickly departing moose.
