More changing of the season
During the past week we received almost two inches of rain – while not anything like a crisis, it was spread out over five days or so and this was depressing. The weather turned sharply colder, we reached freezing or close to it by Thursday, and the sense that the fall season is really here has settled in.
Today, of course, we has a low of forty-two degrees F and a high of 86F. Consistency not being the New England way.
These images highlight the problem with the season: less and less light at the end of the work day for our backwood patrols.
