To get back to the images from our visit down south, there was more than birds around Jim and Deb’s place.

A unique moth or dragon-fly kind of insect with what looks like black signal flags on their wings is shown here on a log. Attempts to get a picture in flight did not pan out.

Then, the lizard that walked across the front porch was an amazing sight. The creature exhibited this colorful “necktie” toward the end of his walk, perhaps when he realized he was being photographed?
