Off the grid weekend

We spent the past two days with our friends at their camp in Great Falls township, north of Bangor. This is their “back yard,” otherwise known as Madagascal stream. The stream was quite full, a consequence of some recent full rainstorms combined with the decreasing appetite for water being exhibited by the trees and flora. The trees that turn colors early have started. We saw minimal animal activity during our Saturday canoe trip (the most exciting siting was on our way back on Sunday when Sherry and I met a young black bear crossing the road ahead of us!).
