Pennies from Mars
If you have not bookmarked the NASA Curiosity site (http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/msl); do it now to get the latest images from the surface of Mars. Here is a 1909 penny which is attached to the rover to provide the onboard cameras with an image calibration target.
The image of the penny traveled over 225 million kilometers and took about six minutes or so. Many of my photos taken at 30 feet are not as clear.
