Pine tree down
And fir, and spruce, and oak. We have more pictures of fallen trees. We have had a chance to explore the woods on our side of the road and also at the local conservation land about three miles away.

This is an oak tree (above) from the Smithfield Plantation conservation. We found more oak trees down here as compared to the evergreens lying around near our house. It is also interesting that the typically weaker tree species (birch, beech, poplar, etc.) are not among the blow downs. Apparently, the stronger, tougher you are, the easier you fall?
