Poggy bay heron

Tuesday before TS-Jose has higher winds, very sprinkly rain, and misty gray clouds. Previous day’s fog has transitioned to haze. Tom says forecast for rain has been substantially decreased in scope and persistence.
This a.m. walk around was at high tide – nothing unusual but there were herons down at the Great Marsh (off of Money Point road) and at the Poggy Bay marsh. The later heron was closer and the images better, so he gets top billing here. There were cormorants and seagulls at the little beach – more pictures later.
Construction continues down toward the point on Nauyaug (sp?) and ice pond birds went away for the morning.
