On day-6 of the storm of the week, our patrol up the street found where our neighbor’s lack of power originated. Some helpful passers-by set wayward transformers aside so as to allow traffic to continue (which was only partially helpful; another half mile down the road was tree and power line issues that kept the road closed until day-6). One of my routes to and from work was blocked for almost ten days.



From another patrol across our road into the woods, we found numerous large (LARGE) pine and fir trees uprooted completely.
